Moorhouse Estate
Fishing is available on either Crosby or Holmegate Beats, which are prime beats situated between the M6 bridge and Warwick Bridge just upstream of Carlisle. Salmon and sea trout fishing is let either for the season on the basis of one specified day per week (i.e. a Monday rod etc) or by the day. Prices range from £10-£50 per day depending on the time of the year. Grayling fishing is also available after 14th october.

Carleton Hill Fishery
Highly secluded, coarse-fishing in four acres of picturesque, mature lakes that nestle amongst mature trees enjoying splendid isolation and utter tranquility, yet are only one and a half miles from the M6, junction 42. The sensibly spaced comfortable pegs all have lillies or other features to fish to. There are carp to 20lb, tench to 8lb, bream to 8lb, perch to 4lb, chubb to 6lb, roach, rudd, crucians and ide. Limited day-tickets and season tickets are available by advanced booking only. Reasonably priced bait and tackle sold on site
